Timesheet entry is simple and easy with Time&Space®. The ergonomically designed Ribbon Menu places all everyday commands at the users' fingertips and is so intuitive no end user training is required.

Users simply love timesheet entry in Time&Space®. Whatever you book timesheets to, a job, project, task, case etc. you set the terminology to match your organization's terms, so when your users first see the timesheet they see familiar terms and are immediately at home.

A unique time-saving feature is our "Super Awesome Bar", which like a browser search field makes suggestions as users type, refining the search for each character typed. Users can type part of the code or name and the system suggests projects and shows matching items they have recently used. This feature alone saves over 80% of the effort taken to complete a timesheet compared to classic pick lists and is unique to Timewatch.

Of course if users want to choose from a pick list, they can, but rest assured users can only book timesheets to items they are assigned to which speeds up entry and ensures they cannot book timesheets to projects they are not allocated to, which dramatically reduces entry errors.

Users have the freedom to enter data as hours-minutes, decimals or as a %age of their day, they can copy the jobs or assignments they worked on last week, even import timesheets from their Outlook Calendar.... yes, that's right, with our Exchange integration module Outlook appointments can be imported directly into their timesheet!.

Outlook Timesheet

Outlook users often ask if there is a way to convert Outlook appointments into timesheets, and with Time&Space® there is, in fact there are two options depending upon whether you

want an Outlook plug-in or an Exchange Server plug-in.

OutlookTime® is a plug-in that runs inside MS-Outlook and enhances the appointment screen to allow customer and project detail to be allocated - this then allows appointments to be posted to their timesheet.

OutlookTime® supports Outlook 2007 and 2010, does not require anything to be installed on the Exchange Server and is ideal for

organizations that do not use Exchange or whose IT staff restrict integration with Exchange.

For those with Exchange who prefer a server based solution, ExchangeTime® integrates directly with MS-Exchange 2007/10, requires no client installation and allows users to import Outlook appointments into their timesheet.

Both integration options save end users' time, assists in end user acceptance, increases the accuracy of timesheets as well as the timeliness of end users posting their timesheets. Dashboard & PTO Monitor

The optional timesheet dashboard provides valuable feedback to users to help them manage their timesheet, expenses, keep an eye on the their project task commitments and current utilization, as well as the status of their vacation and sick days taken and remaining.

Issues are highlighted in red to instantly alert the user to items such as a late or missing timesheet.

Each user's future workload is detailed to help them better plan the days and weeks ahead as well as alert administrators to overloaded weeks and bottlenecks in upcoming tasks.

Progress bars show up-to-the-minute task progress, indicating the current completion against expected effort as well as whether the user has the availability to complete the task on-time - green being okay, orange indicating that the user is running out of time and red indicating that there is no longer possible to complete the task on time.

     
 
 

iPhone Timesheet

The Time&Space® timesheet is designed for iPhone.

Users have access to most of the functionality of the full browser system, then can search jobs, allocate timesheets and notes just as in the full timesheet, providing the ability to enter timesheets on the go to those that need it.

The iPhone timesheet is seamlessly integrated with Time&Space® so that users can enter hours via the iPhone or their web browser simultaneously.

Blackberry Timesheet

Users can also enter their timesheet via our Blackberry / PDA timesheet.

Although not as functionally rich as the full browser entry, users can search jobs, allocate timesheet hours and notes just as in the full timesheet, providing the ability to enter timesheets on the go to those that need it.

PDA entry is fully integrated with Time&Space® so as users enter timesheet hours into their PDA, it is visible in Time&Space® and vice versa.

Administrators share the love

Administrators love Time&Space® too, they can define entry rules to ensure users can only log time to the projects assigned to them. This dramatically reduces admin overhead in

reviewing, correcting and approving time.

Administrators are immediately made aware when timesheets are waiting for approval as the "Check Time" button blinks when there are timesheets to check, and is disabled when there are none.

Auto Late Timesheet chasers

Administrators often waste a considerable effort chasing late timesheet offenders. Time&Space® saves valuable admin time by automatically sending late timesheet reminders. You can even define an escalation process so the tone of the email can change with each subsequent reminder as well as escalate the offenders list to managers if the issue persists.
